The Future of Management

Gary Hamel, author of Leading the Revolution and Competing for the Future, has come out with a new book The Future of Management.
From Hamels own Site: "Drawing on his latest research, Hamel demonstrates that it is innovation in management—rather than in operations, products or strategies—that is most likely to create long-term advantage. Building on this insight, he describes in detail how a company can get a head start on the future by building tomorrow’s best practices today.

Hamel usually brings an interesting perspective to the field (something we have touched on before) and he has caught my attention with his old work.

Sometimes I feel that he doesn´t consider all the incentives of all the parties involved in what he proposes, nevertheless, I´m looking forward to reading it. Even if one considers it as nothing more than thought-provoking material, his perspective and his analysis are concepts I believe I should be made aware of.
